VIP is the way to go...

So my wonderful sister-in-law Angie won tickets to the X96 Big Ass Show...not only did she win tickets, but she won the Best Seats in the House tickets. And since she's so nice, she invited Brady and I along. They ended up moving it to the Salt Palace because it was snowing, so an outside show wouldnt have been that fun. So when we got there, we found the guy that was supposed to give us our passes. Brady asked him if he had any extra VIP passes and he gave us some! So we got to hang out in the VIP lounge and stay backstage for all of the shows instead of just the 1 we were assigned for Best Seat in the House. The VIP lounge was awesome (although i forgot to get a picture of it). We got free lunch catered by Buca di Beppo (YUM) and all the free sodas and water we wanted. This is Sum 41 on a radio interview broadcast from the VIP room:

Then we went to see some shows. Here's Madina Lake (i was VERY impressed with them, they really knew how to work a crowd)

This is the crowd that was there...picture taken from right by the stage:

And here's Sum 41:

But by far the best performace of all was Social Distortion...amazing!

Yeah...we were THISCLOSE! Mike Ness's arm and guitar:

And last but not least, here is the Used:

It was so cute, his family was there and we were standing right next to them. The funniest thing is that his family is very active in the church (you could see the garment lines) and they were so proud of him! He blew some kisses to his mom and she started to cry. That was cute. Anyway, so we had an awesome day. I know you wish you were me. :)
