The Easter Bunny Came Early
The Easter Bunny wanted to take Sunday off, so he came to our house early. It's so much easier than having to do it Sunday morning and rush off to church. He left Jaydin a Barbie, an Elmo kite, and Dora underwear. No, she's not potty trained, she just wants to wear underwear so she wears it over her diaper. Yeah, she's a diva, and she was pretty excited. Once she figured out the eggs had candy in them, that's really all she cared about.
Then, the Easter Bunny hid eggs in Nana and Papa's yard so all the kids could go on an Easter egg hunt. They had a great time. Jaydin got pretty into it this year after she saw the older kids getting so excited over it.

Here is all the kids with their treasure. Derek, Wyatt, Duncan, KatieAnn, Ava, Collin, and Jaydin (Charlie and Emilia couldn't make it).

It looks like Jaydin had a good time. I can't believe how big she is getting. I think it's smart to have the Eater Bunny come on Saturday, then you don't have to be in a rush and you could enjoy the day. Also, Sunday is a good day to be able to reflect on Christ and what he has done for us.
That's exactly why we do it Saturday. That way it's pretty much 2 separate things. One day is the fun holiday, the next day is the spiritual one. We always did it like that growing up, and it was so nice.
Hey! It looks like you guys had lots of fun! I also agree that it's cool to do it on Saturday! :0) I like that Idea!
